Is Month of August oready!

It also means I left 3 weeks to slack before college reopen.. Oh no.. Can I pause the time?

Anyway July been a good good month .. hope month of August continue to do so ^^

the cafe/restaurant is located at Tingkat Tembaga,Greenlane ;

shop lots opposite Chung Hwa High School 

this cafe/restaurant is serving western food and 

most of the decorations in the shop is DIY including the menu itself

and is a family business .. run by the boss and the wife (the chef)

if you would like to go in group is better to do a reservation like us .. as the cafe/restaurant is not very big.. and is even better if you straight order through phone what you want.. as they afraid you have to wait quite long if a lot people..

when we went.. is their dinner set special.. with the price of RM26.90 you entitle to get a cup of Taiwanese fruit juice (some sort like bubble tea type one, a number of flavour you can choose from such as PassionFruit, Kiwi, Lime, Blackcurrant, and more) a bowl of mushroom soup and the main (points below)  It serve with garden salad and mashed potato.. 

Don't worry about the hard grilled pork that hard to chew.. this is just nice and tender enough! *thumbs up for this*

Another dinner set of the day that serve together with

Roadtrip to ---> Pulau Aman

Wake up early in the morning because we are going to "Peaceful Island"~ 

Anthony pick me then to Bf's house but he just woke.. so we turn to pick up LiChen first..

When we reach there.. Lc's granny was quite surprise and say "So early aa?. Lc is not up yet..I help you all wake her up" Hahaa.. on the way time.. me and Anthony already discuss don't know she wake already not.. hahaa.. manatau really not yet wake.. because she set wrong alarm.. haha.. so after she done.. back to Bf's house to pick him up and off we go to Machang Bubok to pick up Vivon and off we go to the Batu Musang jetty to get a boat to Pulau Aman

Thanks to Waze we managed to find this jetty because it is quite deep inside from the city.. 

-The schedule-

We reached the jetty about 9+ 

As it is Sunday so we do not need to wait long for the next boat.. 

Few speed boats will keep on picking up people and sending people back..

 Less than 15 minutes we reached Pulau Aman

*You can see this junction after you come down from the boat and walk straight all the way*

We do not know which way should we go..

 So we walk to the right as we saw the banner hanging there

But eventually is a wrong way... as we see from Google image the restaurant got sea view one.. 

so we walk back to the left

We reached too early or the land is so peaceful? 

Not many people around..

and most of the houses not well maintained even the chalet.. 

I don't think I can survive here.. hahaha... 

and then we found it.. not yet open.. so we have to wait..

Back to the story ~

This is the side where the fisherman will come over to pass the catch-of-the-day to the seller 

and then customers have to pick and buy the seafood and bring over to the restaurant to cook it..

- the interior of the restaurant -

This whole place is managed by Malay

Reviews say is a must place to dine in when at Pulau Aman 

The main food they serve here are

1) Mee Kuah Udang

2) Mee Goreng Udang

3) Bihun Kuah Udang

4) Bihun Goreng Udang

5) Nasi Goreng Udang

6) Kuey Teow Kuah Udang

7) Kuay Teow Goreng Udang

Normal for RM6 and Special for RM10 (must be more prawns?)

We were quite hungry at that time.. and so excited to dig in

The colour looks good right.. but the TASTE TOTALLY OUT !

I guess it will be the first and last time to dine in here.. 

All of us not satisfied with our noodles.. 

LOL... Everything taste the same..just using different types of noodle

and if were to choose the good one among all this.. I think I will go for the goreng one..but still..blehh

As for the seafood.. not much available.. I assume is maybe because of Raya still.. the one we want

already sapu by other people.. so we only get this two crab.. RM29 for two crab.. 

and they only STEAM for you.. no others.. I guess because want you to taste the sweetness of the seafood.. Very disappointed with the way they steam the crab too.. You see the picture below.. the rubber band and tali rafia all did not remove before they steam it....  my gawd.. and one of the crab so yuckky.. inside all the sand or stone kinda thing .. even think back make me goosebumps

 After the NOT SATISFYING MEAL

we walk back to the pier and wait for the boat to bring us back to Batu Musang Jetty..

the"boat driver"drive so fast.. the boat keep hitting the wave..so bumpy

and I notice that this boat do not have any life jackets hanging at the seats ; even the one we take earlier in morning they hang at the seats but did not ask us to wear it.. hahaa.. 

maybe they feel just short distance .. no need so troublesome.. 

safely reach another end.. where we park our car 

Enjoy the wind awhile while we discussing where shall we go next..

and I still wonder how could so many people say nice food..

We decided to go for a tea session in Penang cafe.. 

So thought of getting the famous Sentosa Char Siew Pao at BM before we head back to the island

but too bad.. have to wait one hour because already sold out.. left the eggtarts only.. aww... 

so Vivon suggest us to try the brown sugar ice kacang around that area.. because previously when we go cycle around heritage area we told her that the ice balls use Sarsi syrup not brown sugar.. She feel the combination very weird and prefer the brown sugar more.. 

No doubt..

This is good! Will definitely come back for the char siew pao and this brown sugar ice kacang 

After everyone went back and took a bathe..

Previously was Victoria Rossa and is now taken over by new vendor and rename it.. 

So vintage style.. Love the environment so much.. 

Will come back to try the four course set lunch..

We ordered the afternoon high tea set and extra one pot of tea for five person

With the vintage stuff surrounding and the classic background music is so cozy.. 

Boyfiee quite enjoy himself with the music.. hahaa... 

 After the tea session..about six plus seven we do not know where to go anymore..

so suggested to Straits Quay to get my Ipanema slipper since is on promo.. Straits Quay no longer like previously so popular anymore.. I wonder where the crowd all went? Is it because of the Summerton and Karpal Singh Drive? After walking the flea market and get my slipper

 About eight plus we went for dinner.. Try out the western food Lc recommend nearby Mount Erskine..Did not know there is a coffee shop inside the housing area.. 

At first ordered Grilled Black Pepper Chicken.. the lady told us no more chicken.. 

So we Ohh.. okay.. then we get other .. Me and Vivon ordered the Grilled Fish with Mushroom Sauce Bf ordered the Jumbo sausage and Anthony ordered the Grilled Lamb .. 

Happily waiting for the food to be served..

"Grilled Black Pepper Chicken" - HUH?!

All of us stunt.. huh? We thought you say no chicken anymore.then she say NO.. I say left one piece..

we do not know whether to accept the chicken or not.. because all of us already got one plate.. and

the way she talk like is our fault. and want us to take the chicken... and pay her the money..  I did not see her face.. but Anthony and Bf say she do her pattern face all.. they don't want to argue with her so just accept the chicken.. Seriously?! Bad luck or what? hahaa...

The Grilled Fish with Mushroom Sauce is too salty to my liking

First try bad experience ; I doubt there will be second time.. hahaha.. 

Back to James Foo for the stuffed fish better I guess.. 

After all I still enjoy my days with you all ;
