Oppssiee.. I did mention in the previous post that I want to update eldest sister wedding dinner back in Dad's hometown .. but schedule is so pack up .. too busy with assignment recently.. and no time for me to blog about it.. hopefully by this weekends I will post it up.. no promise =X.. 

:::TWO:::

Counting down to the date of Da Jie wedding only left 2 weeks ..oh no.. left two weekends for me to get my things done.. such as 1) Manicure 2) Dress 3)Hairdo.. can I have more times? 

:::THREE:::

Addition, this semester.. assignment all so late only release but then no delaying the deadlines.. another oh no.. I already start counting how many days left for me to settle off the four assignments.. Left exactly ONE month.. hahaha...mouth say cannot finish but no matter what .. die die also have to finish it.. conclusion, one week for one assignment.. crazy college.. trying to kill the students .. in the college rules some more dare to write students have 6 weeks to finish off one assignment.. but they never think of we got other subjects have to do assignment also.. BIG HEADACHE !!! 

:::FOUR:::

and Today..I don't know how and I don't know why.. I can just fall down right after I get down from fren's car.. as I remember I just stand there with my heavy bag and laptop and files.. and tilt my body to the side and look over to another car window.. because that particular Kancil did not wind up the driver side window.. and suddenly loss of balance .. I trip and fall down.. hahaha.. Seriously..  don't ask me how..because I really really don't know how or why.. hahahaaa... bag too heavy or something wrong with me.. and make me can't stand properly and fall down.. hahahaa.. luckily nothing scratches me or get stung by the fire ants.. as I fall down that area got alot of fire ants.. get up and laugh it off with friends..

*this incident really remind me of primary schooling time.. every day must at least fall once.. either from running to school bus after school with the heavy schoolbag or when walking back to house after coming down from the bus.. Parents never fail to ask when they open the door for me.. "one day without bruises cannot back home is it?" hahaa..*

Long Weekend ; Well Spent (Labour Day + Wesak Day)

Hello there *waves waves*

I bet everyone enjoy the beginning of May just like I did.. due to the public holiday and replacement holiday..

 Friday-Monday.. total of four days.. 

*because no need go class or work and can lepak at home or go out somewhere with your favourite people.* hahaa..

but boyfie got work half day on the saturday...

Initially family plan to go down to Ipoh and KL but cancelled off due to hotel fully book and worry there might be a lot of people and jams ~ so just stay in our own sweet island...

Went to food hunting with loved ones.. 

Wanted to go Trois Canon Cafe but it is close on that day (you can read my visit to the cafe here).. so We ( Me, Second Sis, Kh and Boyfiee) went to try the Delight Delicatessen located at Campbell Street .. *From what I read from few food blogger blog it stated that it initially located at Macalister Lane and now they move the Campbell Street after Kantan Cafe closed down.. 

*too many cafe opening in Penang.. not even get the chance to visit it , it already closed down*

these are the set lunch menu during weekdays 

(monday-thursday)

whereas this is the normal price menu

we ordered two set and two ala carte

the set come with one drink, soup and free flow of ice creams

surcharge will be charge if caught.. hehe..

during our visit.. there are five flavours of ice creams

yam, mint with choco chips, chocolate, vanilla and sweet corn 

so cute the coasters.. 

the drinks ~ Passionfruit, Peach tea and Green tea
not too sweet.. 

the soup that come in the set is Pumpkin soup served with a slice of garlic bread

the garlic bread can be more crunchy .. as for the soup, taste sweet for me, but I still prefer mushroom soup as my appetizer over this.. hehe..

Kok Hong ordered Mera-mera chicken with 2 sidelines

for the sidelines, He opt for Mera fries and Mera rice 

For the chicken, there are four level of spiciness to choose from..(can refer the menu above)

He opt for Mild.. level 1..

Here it is ; Look like Nando isn't it? 
the chicken is not too dry and is tender.. 
but the rice not flavourful enough.. and I guess their fries is handcut fries.. 
overall can say is quite health not much msg used.. 

Second sis ordered the Spaghetti Chicken Meatballs 

the chicken ball is yummy.. not like other shop type of meatball

this one they go fried it and it goes well with the spaghetti.. 

the spaghetti is not too soft nor hard.. 

Me ordered the same like Kh Mera-mera Chicken with 2 sidelines 

but I opt for edamame and coleslaw as my side

and for the spiciness level I opt for Flaming.. level 3

 

the sauce is homemade by them.. it goes well with the chicken.. 
don't really like the coleslaw...

Boyfiee (Gene) ordered the Mera-mera Wrap served with fries and salad 

aww.. wrong angle.. did not capture the fillings in the wrap... 
the wrap is with chicken slices inside , lettuces, tomatoes, onions and sauces.. 
healthy lunch..

Overall food taste good and worth the price with the portion they serving
For the next visit boyfiee say would like to try out their pie 9 inch Grandfather Colonial Chicken Pie
the owner say it can served up to 4 people.. but he say he can finish the whole pie by himself.. haha
 Anyway .. for the chicken pie have to make reservation one day in advance .. 
so that they can prepare a yummy yummy pie for you ..  =P

As for dinner.. we went to The Alley located at Butterworth since is just opened not long ago..

then keep turn here and there and finally found it.. the shop is not located in the shop lots area like the one in Penang/Sungai Petani.. this one is located individually as one..

the first branch is in Penang located near Guan Yim Theng which serve churros, cronuts, cakes and coffees whereas the second branch located in Sungai Petani serve Western food , cakes and drinks

and for this third branch located at Raja Uda.. they serve Japanese food with coffee and of course with some cakes and drinks.. special isn't it? hahaa

I'm not a fan of coffees but Japanese food definitely a YES !

Katsu Don

For the spiciness level, they also got four levels for the customers to choose from .. since me and boyfie sharing this ..we opt for second level .. Look at the picture below ! They are generous in giving the potatoes and carrots as the side with the chicken cutlet .. it is crunchy on the outside and tender in the inside.. the curry is thick and yummy.. .. sis commented that ..the taste with the generous portion and price paid is so much better compared to Coco Ichibanya (a restaurant originated from Japan and specialize in serving curry rice that recently open in Queensbay Mall top floor)

Sis and KH ordered the Sake Don

aww.. I like this one too.. the salmon breaded with crumb and deep fried!.. 

the salmon do not have the fishy smell and it goes so well with the curry rice.. 

next visit gonna order this! hehe.

Janice and her bf was quite disappointed with that they had ordered..

After the dinner.. we went back to Penang and find a cafe to chill ...

 Yz joined us and we played some board games and 
end the night with the ''killer game'' ..

Is swimming day ~

is been so long since I swam.. haha.. not very pro in swimming.. 

but at least know how to float in the water.. hahaa but before went to swim at Kh's house.. drop by Janice house for gym.. Did not join in the session .. because just ate lunch..

and back Kh's house for card game.. Dominion..  

we play and chill at his house with snacks and card game.. so much fun.. hahaa..

play till around midnight 2 plus only back home sleep..

||| Penang Hill |||

Trip to Penang Hill with loved ones

Parents been so long did not went up to Penang Hill 

so on one of the day during the long weekends.. we have a family outing to Penang Hill

since it is a holiday.. a lot of tourists and local people went there too..

luckily now they have a parking building at the side before the entrance for people to park or not everyone have to park by the roadside till down the road.. Ps; parking is not free of charge.. you have to pay ... if not mistaken is RM1 per hour.. not so sure because I'm not the one paying.. hahaa .. 

For the ticket 

RM4 for student / senior citizen - student have to show student card together with IC

whereas for adult with IC is RM8 

the train ride was so fast.. maybe due to so many people on that day.. not even 30 mins we reach the peak and down the hill.. hahaa.. I guess they turn on their top speed mode..

After Penang Hill.. 

Parents drop me n boyfiee to his house to wait for Janice and Pk to go Taiping for seafood..

after one two hours of car journey .. we finally reach Taiping 

this restaurant is located somewhere in Matang, Taiping.. 

Not really familiar with the road there.. haha.. and is so dark.. barely can remember how to go..

but I'm sure you can find it using Waze.. haha..

 this restaurant only serve their seafood in few types of cooking style.. 

either u want it steam, fried, cook with curry or kung pao style 

so we let the guys decide how they want the seafood to be cook.. 

and we just sit back and wait for the food to be served.. 

Very hungry at that time but luckily we did not wait very long for the food to be served..

but due to holiday season.. we want to order squid.. FINISH.. we want crab .. FINISH..

and we don't feel like eating prawn.. so we did not order that.. so ended up we only order 

1) Shark Fish Kung Pow Style - we don't like it .. it taste weird.. and doesn't taste like kung pow at all.. dunno how to describe the taste of it.. 

2) Stir Fried Tofu - Normal.. nothing to shout out.. 

3) Mixed vegetable with Sambal Belacan - so so ~ the sambal belacan taste did not stand out..

4) Fried Fish - this is good.. Crunchy at the outside and soft in the inside.. RM2 per piece

5) Steam Kappa - can taste the sweetness of the kappa 

6) Curry Mantis Prawn - this is nice.. but the mantis prawn a little bit small in size..

7) Hot tea for four people RM2 (refillable) 

Overall.. the portion is actually enough for six people but only four of us finish it up except for the shark fish..  food taste is wise .... haha.. winning point is that the price is cheap.. only cost us RM109 for 6 dishes for 4 people.. Ps;  boyfie and Pk did comment that during their previous visit.. the taste of the food is better compared to this.. maybe due to peak season.. all the good one already let people ordered.. left the little little bit for us.. so sad.. but anyhow I still enjoy the good time with them.. ^^

So this entry basically sum up how I started the month of May !

 and may the good good things all happen continuously.. 

 *Ps; Also I have to stop being a procrastinator from doing my assignment.. Have to complete as much as possible before next month. June gonna be a busy busy month.. God Bless Me..*
