::: Goodbye July, Hello August :::

Is the third page of August already! Be good to me ok?
So far still not yet earn enough kachings, still in the learning stage of becoming better day by day, still a lot of things haven't achieve yet and of coz one of it is delay a lot in my blog entry.. been several times lil sis keep tease saying that I only blog one year after the happenings ..LOL cant deny, but is true..keep say want to make time for blog,ended up will just left the entries all in draft status. =.=

Hmmm... July been quite rough to me this year..  met an accident together with dad when we are on the way home from my workplace..happily talking with dad and suddenly another bike come out from junction without stopping..we are riding at normal speed and thought he will stop at the junction but that split second happened too fast that dad could not even have the time to break..till now I clearly remember the scene where he come out so fast from the junction, want to turn right but did not stop and see right- but only see left and straight accelerate and turn to right and knock us down.. that moment bang and fall I close my eyes so hard and thinking oh no accident..quickly I open my eyes and saw dad and myself already on the tar road.. and the guy just stand there without any falling nor have any injury.. immediately I stand up and throw out the words to him- you no need to see it is!? then turn to dad.. see he can't stand up and he hold his feet so tight.. saw the feet next to big toe tear up and the blood keep flowing out.. I get so panic and burst to tears but luckily my conscious mind is keep on telling me go grab the phone and call ambulance.. don't know what number to press as well and simply just dial 999 with my shaking hand and voice manage to make the call and let them locate my location. after that immediately call to my sisters but they did not pick up.. ended up have to call bf even tho knowing he is just out from his office from mainland .. thus that time the accident runner, people who nearby come by.. 

*Come to think of it actually make me rolled my eyes X dont know how many times*.. the people who stop by instead of helping me to call the ambulance but in turn keep urging me to dial..  seeing dad in pain and his face turn pale makes me so worry and angry at the same time.. but luckily there is also a helpful doctor who stop by to help my dad wrap up the open wound with the bandage gauze. The ambulance take quite some time to reach since is Friday and is peak hour..roughly about twenty minutes or half an hour only the ambulance arrive and did not even on the siren.. bring dad up the ambulance and send to GH before transferring to private hospital. luckily they still able to accept my dad and immediately we transfer over and the doctor start to wash the wound for dad .. 6 plus accident but all the waiting and transferring to another hospital..do the admission procedure.. wash wound for dad and myself and get a tetanus jab already 11+.. around that time only doctor push in my dad to operating theater.. 

I do not have any major injuries, just some scratches on the elbow and feet.. but dad case are more serious and till now we still don't understand how the feet can injured so serious.. dad's left feet have an open wound next to the big toe 7cm long thus the big toe and second toe bone misalignment and crack.. doctor have to sew back the open wound and put steel in both the toes to align the bone back.. the very next day we get advise from the doctor and he say that surgery went well except for the second toe have to monitor few days ..one of the blood vein has died off due to the injuries too deep and hopefully another blood vein of the second toe can still support .. if not then have to surgery away the second toe..*we guess the doctor do not have 100% sure that the second toe cant function as he had done screening and the result shows that another blood vein still working fine*..  we waited for 1 week plus and doctor allow dad to discharge and follow up a few days later.. Bring dad to the hosp to follow up and the second toe turned completely black.. doctor advise have to immediately go for the second surgery to remove not partially but the whole second toe.. hold back my tears so hard when I see dad eyes turn watery and red and could not even say a word.. and keep telling dad is okay, everything will be fine *even heart is thinking no, a body part is missing forever*.. done the second admission for second surgery and I went back home to pack some clothes and things that dad needed for the stay.. on the way home keep tears and non stop asking WHY and HOW could this happened.. T.T

Now is been 2 weeks plus near 3 weeks since the incident and finally we are done with all the police report and whatever need to be done.. dad finally discharged and now resting at home.. seeing him able to eat normally makes us feel more relieve compared to those days seeing him in the hospital without appetite to eat but only drinks~ 

No worries Papa, you are still good looking as ever and we love you ! <3
So..Please be more careful on the road people! Extra careful!

Working Life : New working environment ^^

Hello there peepo~

 if you read my previous entry then you know that I had joined a new working place starting 1st June. So far so good I would say and there are still a lot of things that I need to pick up

Joined the new company on 1st June and on few days after I have to do the induction session in front of 10 people in that company. hahaa.. I managed to explain to them all the important details throughout the 2 hours + session and the response is quite good hahaa (but luckily this 10 people is about the same age as me.. moving forward I have to do it for expatriate and etc.. that time I guess I will need to prepare more.. hahaa) on the 6th June (4th working day in the new company) I already got the chance to travel to Singapore for a business trip. I'm really lucky and glad for all the happenings :) Hehe..it is my first-time travel to Singa land ! and my first-time travel alone to somewhere I have never been before! and.. it is my first business trip experience~

Beautiful Weather~

Touched down roughly about 11.30am and the meeting is 1.30pm.. without wasting more time immediately I try to connect to the airport wifi while finding a place that sells the local sim card. Brought it from the money changer counter and ask for the cheapest sim card hahaha.. since I'm only going to use it for just one day right, why want to waste money. Earlier did ask Vic darling which carrier has the cheapest sim card and she tells me M1 but then the data is only100mb and the counter is not selling that carrier prepaid card. They only have Singtel and the cheapest they have is $15 Singtel prepaid card.. for me is quite expensive weyy if convert to Msia ringgit (MYR 1 = SGD 3.10) Since the cheapest they have is $15 and I do not have extra time to waste so just grab it. With the amount of money paid, it comes with 4GB data, 500 minutes local calls, 30 minutes international calls to anywhere and 100 local SMS. not too bad I guess? but it is a five days prepaid card.. hahaa.. after five day the sim card automatically will be terminated even though you have balance in it 

Speed up my footstep to the immigration gate and book a grab car to bring me to Robinson Road
Haha.. it is also my first time using Grab in a foreign country. *Previously try before Uber in Thailand but I'm not the one booking it, is my sister hahaa* Stuck at the immigration for roughly half an hour due to the line quite long. but luckily the grab driver is patient enough to wait for me. The ride is about 20 minutes from the airport to Robinson Road ($18).. You can see a lot of people in business attire walking here and there then yes you reach Robinson road.. hahaa

So coincidence that my company office building in Singapore is located next to Vic darling's office building. hahaha. if you are reading this - Thank you again for making time to meet me up for a quick lunch at the Lau Pa Sat food court. Even though that day the weather is terribly hot but still managed to catch up with you for lunch in Singapore is really good :D Hope there will be more time like this~ After the lunch session with Vic, she some more insist on bringing me to my office only she leave. scare I lost in finding the office .. hahaa.. **how to find a friend like this you tell me? didn't manage to capture picture together, only on Snapchat.. hopefully future I get to travel there again xD**  at 1.30pm sharp the meeting started.. meeting till 5.30pm with the global team HR.. really glad to have the opportunity to meet up with the global team HR from Poland and Ukraine.. even my director say is her first time meeting them.. all this while they just communicate via email, phone or conference video/call.. haha.. Indeed I'm really lucky and the timing is so chun as well..Pack things all and grabcar to Hotel

Oh ya. Spotted this phone on the hotel table.. haha.. can consider a facility maybe? a smartphone prepared by the hotel for their guest to use it. How cool is this.. you can actually bring this phone out with you when you are traveling around the city or in the hotel area. it has unlimited calls to local or international, 3G and more.. haha.. so cool right? Since I already have data so I didn't bring this out to use it hahaa.. perhaps next time? hehe

the night safari is located quite far away from the city.. roughly 30 minutes + to reach there

Even though that time quite hungry but when on the tram going around seeing the animal 

the hungry feeling kinda stop for awhile .. hahaa  the tour on the tram takes roughly about 40 minutes.. we didn't go down from the tram to explore the night safari by feet because we still haven't take our dinner..the tram tour end about 9+.. we ate our dinner at the foodcourt inside the night safari.. no picture is taken because all of us are hungry that time.. we talk, we laugh, we eat

After our scrumptious dinner at the night safari, we grab a cab and off we go to Clarke Quay to chill by the river side since the night before my arrival they had gone to the Gardens by the Bay. *I shall go next time xDD*

Didn't manage to capture a picture at the place we chill because busy talking and drinking ..

After the 1st round drinking by the river side, Kate suggested to go to the sky bar- 1-Altitude for second round haha.. we finish our drink and we take a slow walk by the river side to the sky bar building.. To enter the sky bar you need to pay the cover charge $35 per person and you can choose a drink from the cocktail selection. All of us go decided to go with the Singapore sling since we at Singapore .. hahaa.. cold jokes aside..

Guess what.. while walking to the airport departure gate, bump into Lis darling and her parents, they also waiting for their plane to transit back to Penang after their vacation hahaa.. so coincidence we are taking the same plane and her seats in the plane is just next to me.. **no nice picture taken together as well because both of our face like zombie early in the morning and so sleepy** hahaa

All this coincidence happens just like that without any plan.. Love this momento!

A short getaway to Ipoh with love~

Planned a short trip with love to Ipoh to celebrate our 3rd year anniversary~

We managed to get this hotel from Booking.com or Agoda roughly about RM1xx..*can't remember clearly which website bf use to book and the price as well.. haha checked Agoda is RM110+* 

||| Indra Hotel - Boutique Suites |||

Once you enter the Ipoh toll, the hotel is located ten minutes away from the highway toll, It is just behind a Tesco haha.. Booked this hotel because see the review and ratings quite good. the location is not bad as well. near to Tesco hypermarket, opposite this hotel has a mamak stall and you can easily find bank/ atm next to the hotel

1st Stop : 

::: Concubine Lane - 二奶巷 :::

keep saw people post on Facebook so we decided to go explore ourselves hahaa..

It is something like Penang Armenian Street where they have painting on the walls, mini museum, stalls that sell crafts and foods, local delicacies and souvenirs

When we are there, the rain start to pour, luckily is just drizzling if not plan ruined

Bf spotted this jelly in one of the stalls. bought it because it looks so cute but if I'm not mistaken this jelly ball cost RM5 for one stick .. looks cute but not the taste.. a bit tasteless though.

 most of them are selling souvenirs and each of the shops is decorated nicely for you to capture photo.. hehe like this one below got a mini windmill and sheep welcoming the guests who walk pass

Due to rain, many stalls started to pack. I guess normally will have more stalls

One of the shops if you purchase stuff they selling for more than RM10 then you get to enter their top floor photo area for free ~ if not the entrance fee is RM 3 per person :)

You can drop by to this shop to enjoy a bowl of tau fu fa or fresh soya milk

Hehe.. we ordered one Teow Chew Tau Fu Fa = RM 2.00 

and 

one Tau Fu Fa with ginger soup = RM1.80 

Both are good, the taste and the texture of the tau fu fa! *feel like having this right now*

After eating the tau fu fa, continue our walking along the concubine lane and we walk pass this Thai shop .. spotted the ang mohs is having the boat noodle and is been a long time since I have one.

 so we go in and ordered two bowls of boat noodle.. hahaa.. saja wanna try the taste.. the soup is nice! yum yum yum.. they also serve other food as well, fried rice, mango pulut rice and etc.. but I have planned to bring him to another place for dinner.. so we didn't order food, other than that two bowl of mini boat noodle .. hehe

I managed to get a handmade purse and accessories for myself and he get himself a eye mask.. around 4/ 5 plus all the shops started to close so we decided to go find the painting arts but then I couldn't find it through waze or online and the rain start to pour heavier . 

so we straight headed to the dinner place..

Yes.. again Euro House.. hahaha.. because I don't like Ipoh chicken rice or their famous chicken shredded hor fun.. so Euro House it is ! been here for quite a number of times and previously road trip with besties as well (you can read it here)

we order a snack and a main to share.

Okay, this sausage platter is not snack at all.. is more to a main already. hahaha
**due to low lighting the food doesn't look appealing but the taste is good okay, the price is affordable as well**

Two Italian herbs sausages and one chicken sausage served with wasabi mayo and few greens as side

Salmon served with asparagus, mashed potato, and sauteed vegetables
this is huge!

After the early dinner, the rain continue to pour and we can't go Kinta Riverfront to walk so

We went to their mall --> Ipoh Parade Mall 

Lepak for few hours there and before heading back to hotel straight, we drop by the dessert street for supper

from the start till the end of the street, all the stalls are selling almost the same things hahaa.

depends you want to eat at which stall.. we choose this one which has the brightest and nice sign board and having the most crowd as well. Beside this shop got another shop selling Hong Kong style kind of shaved ice - they call it Lolo but the shop quite dark and we didn't see many people ordering it so we just stick with our choice

immediate I ordered one from the stall as well.. this one me likey.. we ofinish it within minutes and ordered another one.. yumss~

Besides, check Foursquare and people recommend to order the curry noodle and beef noodle

Indecisive want to other which one to try .. without thinking much. Bf say ordered both .. hahaha.. we didn't manage to finish the noodles though. 

the curry noodle is nice.. the soup base is different compared to Penang curry mee.. besides, the curry noodle stall allows you to add extra ingredients like assorted fish balls, seafood and etc.. we opt for the normal one.. the portion is quite big even though we ordered small.. the portion is good for sharing if you are small eater

as for the beef noodle - According to Bf the beef soup taste is quite strong and the meat is tender

if you like beef then you will love this beef noodle. hahaa.. but the two piece of white curly "meat" on top of the noodle.. we still can't figure is which part of the cow.. hahaha

it is a home style cafe.. luckily we reach earlier .. if not then we have to queue for seats.
this cafe has indoor and outdoor seating..

we managed to get the indoor seating. 

We Ordered their roti bakar - spread with kaya and butter and Omega half boiled eggs

Other than that,  we ordered their signature noodle served with curry chicken 

and 

their signature noodle served with braised egg, tofu and chicken feet

-: Normal only ~ nothing much to shout out hahaa.. :-

After done eating, you can buy some of their 3-in-1 coffees or local biscuits inside the cafe for your loves one.. They also prepared some props for people to take photo

after done eating you can go visit the tourist spot which is Qing Xin Ling Leisure & Cultural Village unfortunately when we are there, the place is closed for maintenance.. so sad.. a lot of cars also reach and u-turn back .. since we can't go in the leisure and cultural village, we drop by to a temple beside the qing xin ling and have a walk.. nothing much though so headed back to Ipoh town to get kaya puff before we head back to Penang :)
