Back in July (end of the month) Two besties - Jan and Lis traveled down to Singapore to find Vic and Me. Due to some reasons, we ended up here in SG to explore together instead of another country. Consider our first trip together in oversea. Haha.. minus the part whereby - Vic and I did not travel together with them from Msia to here. Thank you darlings for coming over :)
::: 26th July 2019, Friday :::
Both of them touched down and meet us up at Vic's place. Unpack etc and about 7/8 plus we head out to the place we plan for dinner and explore.
1st Stop: Potato Head Folk
Located at 36 Keong Saik Rd, Singapore 089143
This building has 4 floors. Each floor gives you different vibes. So you can actually choose which floor you like to dine in and chill.

Definitely, one of the Instagrammable places to visit in SG.
The first floor is the Three Buns Kitchen where they prepare the goodie foods.

the area is not too big nor small. it will be better to call up and make a reservation if you are coming in a bigger group to avoid disappointment.. luck is on our side that night when we are there .. we managed to get comfortable seating at the corner and there are still people continue coming in after 8.30pm.
All the corners are so instagrammable too!

at first, wanted to chill here before going off however is pack with people on that day and we just managed to stand at the stairs to check out the place

--> This one really yummy le.. the bun is quite soft inside out, the sauce is miso mustard with minced onion and cheese.. quite unique tho and of course the sausage!!! woolala~

-->Burger with an interesting name. Hahaha.. the bun not only looks perfect- round shape without any dent or sesame seed on top- but the taste is boom too! I like this one too! Instead of using slices of tomato, they replaced it with caramelized watermelon with the beef patty. Omg.. you may think the combo is weird but trust me the taste will surprise you

--> This one thumbs up! the taste of the sauce was a nice balance of spicy, sweet and salty.
the chicken bites are deep-fried and top with the smokey BBQ sauce. a little spicy for those who cannot eat spicy. I would say is a Good snack to go with beer :)

This is the least favorite of mine that night. the taste normal only and a bit oily..
maybe the patty is deep-fried..

The Helix Bridge
Took us a long time to find this bridge though. hahaha because we keep take photos along the way to here and take video etc hahaa.. This bridge is also one of the instagrammable places in SG.
the bridge is quite long tho.. of coz we didn't walk finish.. just stay at the area near MBS .. tbh this place is quite relaxing at night when taking a night walk there.. when we were there .. a lot of people actually jogging, cycling and ride on the e-scooter along the bridge overseeing the beautiful city light.. is a good place to paktor also hahhaaa
After cho siao for hours here .. We finally took a grab and back Vic's place .. wash up and rest for our tomorrow adventure!
End of day 1 with them in SG :)
::: 27th July 2019, Saturday :::
Today's plan is to go to the instagrammable places around town.
While walking to the place, we stop by The Red House Katong - Heavenly Wang Cafe to have our breakfast. oh nom nom.. you able to enjoy the local coffee and food here with retro classic vibes in the cafe.
after done with our breakfast, we start walking to look for the colorful houses
1st stop: Colorful houses at Joo Chiat Road.
And here you go ~ with our beautiful pictures hahaha
When we reach the place, a lot of tourists busy capturing in front of the houses .. then we were thinking.. not like very very special because in Penang we have more of this type of houses but we choose to come over here for the shots hahaa. But we did enjoy ourselves tho.. Plus we really need to thank Vic's darling fiance for helping us crazy 4 capture these beautiful shots under the hot sun!
2nd Stop: Haji Lane
is so packed when we are there but we manage to get a number of good shots whenever there is no passbyer behind us hahaha.

so cute right? but come to think of it.. with this kind of hot sun only we able to capture so nice photos :D
after all the crazy shots under the hot sun and walking.. we take a break at 7-E to refresh ourselves before heading to the next stop.
3rd Stop: Old Hill Street Police Station

After spending hours there cho siao we head to Plaza SG for HaiDiLao
4th Stop : HaiDiLao

While waiting for your turn
1) You get to do gel manicure (my favourite)
2) Relax on a massage chair,
3) Eat free flows of snacks and dessert,
4) Play board games
and when you get your table, you will be provided the followings :
plastic wrap for your phone to prevent oily screen, rubberband to tie your hair and wet wipes to wipe the phone screen and apron to cover your clothes .. if you were there during your birthday.. there will be free fruit platter with birthday songs from the service team
After dinner session, we walk around the mall and shop a little before heading back to Vic place to rest and wash up. Lis need to pass the cousin some stuff and he suggests to meet at Level 33

After done with the chilling ~ Lis cousin drop us back to Vic's place and we wash up and changes to our Pjs and start our girls talk.. can you imagine we have so many things to talk about .. we talk till forget time but only feel hungry hahaa.. we only realize the time when Vic's phone alarm ring.. at 6 plus am. hahaha.. all of us jump up and immediately go to bed.
::: 28th July 2019, Sunday :::
We suppose to wake early and explore the city but since we talk till forget time
We sleep in a little more and only out from house about 11/12 plus.
Eat our quick brunch at MCD and head to 2 more places for photoshoot.
1st Stop: CHIJMES
The weather is so hot and our sunburn skin couldn't bear anymore with the Sun.. we keep finding shade when we were there hahaa.. so did not really take a lot of photos on the last day
Heading to second stop ~
2nd Stop: Library @ Orchard
is near to Somerset MRT on the 3rd and the 4th level of Orchard Gateway
After all the shots, head back to Vic's place to pick up luggage and go to the airport to explore Jewel
Because we only eat very light in the morning. we head straight for early dinner after checking in.
We went to TimHoWan and then head to Lady M to chill
