Queen and King of my Heart

-Decided to write this down here-
Yeah!!! Finally, papa and mummy are discharged from the hospital! (2nd October)
Thank God for listening to my prayers and of course Thank you to the professional doctors and nurses who handle both of their cases.

Now is time to write a bit of why both of them are admitted to the hospital.
From time to time we witness a lot of happenings of sudden sickness attacks and when seek for medical help is already too late. Therefore we sisters discussed and decided to catch both of them to do a full-body checkup since they haven't been to one. They guai guai go for the check-up and
The doctor who read their body checkup results suggested both of them to seek for heart specialists to do a more detail check-up for their heart. They went and to do the stress test - running on the treadmill kind of test. The result comes out shocked all of us. Both of them have to immediately admit to the hospital because the result is bad. Both of their arteries that supply blood to the heart muscle become narrowed and the percentage that been told by the doctor to us is shocking!

The doctor was saying that luckily both of them come at the right time. If we did not get it treated, it can lead to a variety of complications- the common one that we always hear will be a heart attack and sudden death because blood could not flow properly to the heart. Based on dad result, the doctor immediately schedules dad to do angioplasty on that day itself [18 Sep].. Two of his arteries need to go through this treatment. After reading through google only know how the treatment is. The doctor will insert a long, thin tube into the narrowed part of the artery and then there will be one kind of balloon inflated inside to help open up the artery. the very next day dad already can discharge from the hospital. Ask dad how is the treatment, he says can feel the thing going in and poke the heart area and has the sourish feeling.. omg... I really cannot imagine that you have to stay awake throughout the process.

and now is mum's turns
On the same day, dad goes through the angioplasty, mum is also admitted to the hospital and initially scheduled to do surgery 2 days after however the surgery is postponed to further dates as the doctor is away for training and attend to other urgent surgery. Mom's case is more serious compared to dad. She has 3 arteries blockage and the rate is even higher than dad. my Gawd... the 3 category sickness also visited her.. all in one... Mum's arteries are too narrow and the doctor could not perform angioplasty on her. she will have to go through a coronary artery bypass surgery. Whereby the doctor will have to creates a graft to bypass blocked arteries by using a vessel from mum's leg. This allows the blood to flow around the blocked or narrowed artery to the heart. such a major surgery. Mum is so worried that she can't wake up after that .. T.T and all of us have to calm her down even we are worried since it is major surgery. On the day of surgery, I'm not in Penang. and I just can't focus on my work.. keep ask sister to update from time to time and look at the clock.. in heart keep reading my prayers. The surgery took about 6 hours + till mum is pushed out to the ICU room. the next day only she awake but still blurry probably the anesthesia hasn't passed yet.
The surgery is a big success! [26 Sep]
Mum is recovering very fast and the doctor says her condition is good and can discharge today to go home and rest.

So glad and relief both of them are fine now! Thank God for answering my prayers!!
When they are in the hospital I could not be there to accompany them but luckily there is a day off for my workplace this Friday (children day celebration) and I can't wait till tomorrow to go home to see them and spend time with them! <3

Till here for now-
Signing out;
